The project included the construction of a 6-storey building with an area of 50292 m² at the back of the former recreation center Maysfield in close proximity to the Translink main train station.
The building was commissioned by Allstate – one of Northern Ireland’s biggest employer as headquarters and workplace for employees providing technology, cybersecurity, business and accountancy services to its US parent company, the Allstate Corporation.
The Allstate office building was at the time of commissioning the largest single office building constructed in Northern Ireland. Construction works lasted almost 2 years. In the six-story building, in addition to well-equipped offices, there are restaurants, places to relax, several conference rooms, an outdoor terrace and technologically advanced software development laboratories. The impressive structure has been recognized as one of the symbols of the business transformation taking place in Northern Ireland since the beginning of the 21st century. The new facility was opened by Northern Ireland’s Secretary of State Karen Bradley, who thanked Allstate for its ‘key’ role in developing the Northern Ireland economy.
