Chapter South Bank is a student accommodation building in London SE1.
In a joint venture with British company ‘MHSH Plc’ development company  ‘Q Developments’ undertook the task of constructing a residential building on an industrial estate of approximately 4,000 square meters in Southwark.

PROJECT 
The project included construction of a large apartment building. The obstacle was the physical constraints created by the nature of the post-industrial urban environment however, by focusing on the sustainable development of the area, it was possible to obtain a valid building permit in 2007. The profitability of the implementation of the program for which consent has been granted, was affected by the economic slowdown in 2008. Consequently, Q Developments decided to re-purpose the building and applied for an alternative permit for a large apartment building for students. For this purpose, Q Developments managed to obtain a subsidy from external funds. The initial building permit for 173 apartments was therefore turned into a construction plan for a building with 671 student bedrooms as part of a housing program. In addition to the 671 bedrooms in the building has a games room, a study area and a private gym.The building has its own reception, laundry room, restaurant and bicycle parking. On the roof of the building there is a terrace with an open-air garden. The building was put into use in September 2010.
